I'm Effielou-aka Steph. I came here to PU after seeing it advertised on another parent site---I was really discouraged from this site as newebies weren't welcome, talks of trolls and people not being trusted. I have 2 kids and ttc#3 and wanted a friendly place to chat to people with similar stories as me!!! I logged on here and have NEVER looked back---People are sooo friendly-always there to cheer you up if your are feeling sad-- always cracking a joke if your being daft!!! The competions are fun and not competetive!!!! The system of earning point to jazz up your profile is great and admin are always on hand to help!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE come and have a look--you will not be disappointed--I've made really good friends here!

Our Staff of the month was our Lovely Jo Voting has now started for staff of the Month and Member of the month for Jan. Voting ends 31st Baby snap of the month Between the 1st and 14th of the month you submit 1 pic per child onto the forum, on the 15th to the 25th you can vote for the picture you think best..... and on the 26th The picture with most votes will be crowned winner!

CHOCOLATE CHIPPER CHAMPS 1 1/3 c. packed brown sugar3/4 c. butter1 tsp. vanilla2 eggs2 1/4 c. all purpose flour1 c. M&M'SŪ plain1/2 c. chopped nuts1 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix brown sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonful about 3" apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Press 3 to 4 additional candies in each cookie if desired. Bake until light brown; about 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly, remove to wire rack. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies |
